Cambridge recover to win at Crawley
Cambridge recovered from going behind to an early goal to score three times for the first time this season with a 3-1 victory at Crawley Town.
This was only Crawley's second home league defeat this term, and it extended their winless league run to five games.
Yet Crawley started well and took the lead after only eight minutes when a cross from Chris Arthur was headed down by Enzio Boldeijjn for leading scorer James Collins to fire his sixth league goal of the season.
United equalised on 19 minutes when skipper Leon Legge crossed for defender Greg Taylor, who fired his first league goal for the club.
Big striker Uche Ikpeazu extended the advantage in the 28th minute, coolly lobbing keeper Glenn Morris after a long ball by Max Clark.
Midfielder Luke Berry made the points safe six minutes after the interval by curling in a free-kick from 25 yards.
Crawley rarely threatened a comeback although midfielder Billy Clifford twice went close to reducing the deficit.
