Harry Cornick on song as Yeovil clinch victory at CrawleyYeovil put their serious injury problems behind them with a superb first-half strike from Harry Cornick earning them a 1-0 victory at Crawley.The Glovers' first away league win of the Sky Bet League Two season leaves Crawley without a victory at home in four attempts.Yeovil, with no fewer than 10 players out injured and manager Paul Sturrock watching from the stands due to a touchline ban, wasted two glorious early chances.Striker Ryan Bird put a shot wastefully wide after being put through by Jakub Sokolik before Crawley keeper Freddie Woodman denied the on-rushing Cornick in a one-on-one situation.But midfielder Cornick made amends in stunning fashion to give his side the lead after 27 minutes with a tremendous shot into the top corner from a Matt Doland pass.Crawley, for whom striker Lee Barnard had been off target at the far post in the first minute, struggled for fluency although defender Jon Ashton threatened when he headed wide from a Luke Rooney cross.Skipper Sonny Bradley came close for the hosts when he headed a Rooney free-kick wide shortly after the break.And Yeovil had a further let-off when the unmarked Bradley headed against the bar from a corner by Rooney on the hour.Striker Ollie Bassett, the youngest Yeovil player to make a league debut at the age of 17 years, six months and 13 days, gave way for Jordan Gibbons with 18 minutes left.Cornick twice forced saves from keeper Woodman late on as Yeovil clinched a hard-fought win
