Crawley Town striker Matt Tubbs is confident that his side will continue their impressive home form this season. The Reds, who only lost two games at the Broadfield last season, have their first home game in the Football League against Macclesfield on Saturday.
Tubbs, 27, told BBC Sussex and BBC Surrey: "We've said we'll try and make it a fortress again this season, and there's no reason why we can't.
"It's going to be a tough place for teams to come and pick up points."
He added: "The fans will get behind us like they did last season.
"We're a solid unit and if we keep it tight at the back, we'll always create chances.
"We know we have the ability to mix it with the big boys. With the players and the experience we've got, there's no reason why we can't."
