A Sunday lunch-time kick-off in West Sussex will make for a punishing schedule for Tony Pulis' Potters, who are given little time to prepare for a fifth-round tie after Thursday night's clash with the Spanish giants. But Crawley manager Steve Evans is aware that Stoke's squad depth will allow Pulis to bring in quality players.
"We are all looking forward to what we hope will be another fantastic FA Cup occasion for us," Evans told the club's official website. "Stoke City are a well-established club with a fantastic manager. He has put a great squad in place....Peter Crouch, Jonathan Woodgate and Kenwyne Jones...so it really is a frightening task."
Crawley, who notably beat Championship sides Bristol City and Hull in the cup last year before losing to Manchester United at Old Trafford, are hoping any fatigue in the Stoke ranks can help them pull off another upset.
Evans added: "I believe we can win the match but not if Stoke City play at their best. We need them to be a yard off it and my lads to then to deliver the best performances of their lives, but yes we can do it. We respect all our opponents but fear none."
In the second of three games on Sunday, Tottenham take time out from their Premier League challenge to travel to Stevenage and face Gary Smith's League One play-off contenders.
On the back of a 1-0 victory at Sheffield Wednesday, confidence is high at Broadhall Way and former Colarado Rapids boss Smith has paid tribute to the quality in his squad.
Smith told BBC Sport: "There's a lot more quality in this group than people have seen. We have some very good players in there.
"You don't get to this stage of the season, in this sort of position, without quality individuals. It's not just going to be about blood and thunder and energy.
"A victory would be unbelievable. There would be a tremendous amount of excitement around the place. I would hope in a one-off game we'll have every chance of really pushing Tottenham to their limits. And who knows? The magic of the cup sometimes sprinkles a little bit of that pixie dust on the underdogs and hopefully it will be us on this occasion."
